Michael Bakey

About

Michael Bakey is the Director of Nursing at The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper. He’s worked in the nursing field for over 26 years, supporting patients in trauma care units, emergency rooms, critical care and addiction treatment. He earned his bachelor’s in Nursing from Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing in 1997, and has worked in substance abuse treatment for 9 years.

Michael has been in recovery himself for 18 years, and uses his experience overcoming addiction to connect with patients and encourage them in their journey. He leads his nursing team with expertise and compassion to bring people the life-changing care they need.
